Our history
In a place that combines enduring inequalities and solutions that have shaped the world, we’ve been a constant at the leading edge of health.
Improving staff welfare and patient experience across Guy’s, St Thomas’, and Evelina London hospitals and community sites
We help Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust to provide exceptional healthcare, through supporting a world-class environment for patients and staff at our hospitals and community sites.
We do this through a mix of philanthropic support, managing all donations and funding the costs related to fundraising and administration to ensure 100% of donated funds go towards helping patients and staff. Our Trust Engagement Committee oversee our work with the Trust.
invested in staff psychological and spiritual care programme
in donations funded the opening of Guy’s Head and Neck Cancer Centre
in donations funded three specialist incubators for Evelina London Children's Charity
Funding from generous donations is available exclusively to help staff at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust drive improvements beyond what the NHS can support. Due to the support of the public, we have been able to deliver record levels of funding to support staff at the Trust during this period.
Currently, we provide support through two funds: Evelina Children’s Fund and Special Purpose Funds.
Using donations for the hospital and children’s services, we help provide the best possible care for young patients and their families.
Special Purpose Funds are created when funds are donated to us for a specific purpose. These could be funds donated to honour the care of a loved one on a ward, or to support a particular type of research. Staff can use these funds to drive improvements.
Our Charitable Fund and Cancer Fund are currently paused due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Thank you to everyone at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust who is working tirelessly to support patients, families, friends and colleagues. Read more about our work with Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.
