Charity’s Committee
Our Charity's Committee oversees our work as the charity for Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.
The Investment Committee has full delegated authority from our board to oversee and advise on the running of our endowment.
The Committee has agreed a Distribution Rule and Investment Policy that sets out the goals of the endowment and related operational policies.
David has recently retired from a long career in financial services, most recently having spent 13 years at the Investment Consultancy, Redington, where he was a senior consultant advising a diverse portfolio of institutional investors, Head of Investment Consulting, Chair of the Investment Strategy Committee and Board Member.
He began his career as an actuarial student at Commercial Union before moving to James Capel and then to Goldman Sachs where he spent 24 years in a variety of roles, including being a Trustee and Investment Committee member of the UK pension fund.
His current roles include being a Trustee of the Science Museum Foundation, a Director of the John Lewis Partnership Pensions Trust and a member of the Investment Committee of the BBC Pension Scheme.
Yasemin is the Managing Director and Head of Asset Allocation and Capital Solutions at British International Investment plc. Previously, she covered Digital Identity and Innovation at Omidyar Network, and served in several roles at J.P. Morgan in London across derivatives and impact investing. Furthermore, Yasemin earned a Master of Science with merit in financial mathematics from King’s College London.
William joined Schroders in 1989 and began his investment career in 1985 after qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor with Drivers Jonas. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), a member of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Surveyors and a past chairman of the Association of Real Estate Funds.
Pamela is a Director in PwC’s Financial Services Advisory practice. She is an experienced international business transformation executive, with 20+ years of diversified expertise advising leaders in FTSE 100 Financial Institutions, Energy, and the public sector on transforming their organisations.
Roy is Head of Mission Investments for The Ford Foundation, one of the world’s oldest and largest charitable foundations. Prior to his he was Managing Director and Co-Head of Global Sustainable Finance at Morgan Stanley and Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone.
Mark is Managing Director at BlackRock and brings a broad range of financial services experience to the Committee.
Katrina is an Investment Partner at Coller Capital, where her role includes the origination and execution of investments. The Foundation benefits from her deep experience both in the US and the UK.
Pippa has vast experience across planning, property development and charity governance. Her previous executive roles include Director and Head of Consulting Division, Colliers International, Executive Director, CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) and her previous non-executive roles include being a board member of the Peabody Trust and of Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust.
Imogen has over 30 years’ experience in the real estate sector, was formerly Global Head of Real Estate at International law firm Allen & Overy LLP, and is an experienced Non-Executive Director.
