Ruth Bishop

Ruth joined the Foundation in 2001, and looks after grants and other support to improve patient experience, staff welfare and professional development at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. This includes projects from large to small – from a few pounds for pompoms for young patients’ craft activities to helping offer world-class training for staff caring for cancer patients. She also works with Trust staff to manage and spend donations for particular hospital services.

Prior to this, Ruth worked at a London medical school in academic and charity administration.
