A warm welcome for Cynthia Duodu

Southwark Bridge

Guy’s & St Thomas’ Foundation is delighted to announce that Cynthia Duodu joined the Foundation in February as our Chief People Officer.

As Chief People Officer, Cynthia leads the Foundation’s people function, in a newly-established role which focusses on our most important asset to help us realise our vision of health equity – our people. The role will ensure diversity, equity and inclusion is at the heart of organisational culture.

Cynthia brings a wealth of strategic and commercial experience from private and public sectors, having worked in roles across telecommunications, energy, health and impact investment industries at organisations such as Nesta, the NHS and government in the Department of Energy and Climate Change.

She joins the us most recently from the Low Carbon Contracts Company and Electricity Settlements Company, where as Director of People and Organisation Development, she led on organisational strategy, culture and transformation.

I’m absolutely thrilled to join Guy’s & St Thomas’ Foundation. In this role I’m committed to putting diversity, equity and inclusion at the centre of culture, so that everyone can thrive and work towards our health equity mission. I look forward to working alongside the talented people at the Foundation to realise this shared vision.

It is great to have Cynthia joining us at the Foundation at an exciting time in our journey. This new role will help shape how we deliver our 5-year strategy.  Cynthia’s extensive experience will be an asset to our team as we look to consolidate and build on our growth of the last few years and continue to work to establish the foundations of a healthier society. Our people are our most valuable asset and crucial to our mission to drive equitable health. We want to attract and retain brilliant and diverse talent, and operate in the best way to help us realise our vision.
